The public workflow is intentionally narrow: one authorized public link, one temporary result, and an honest status throughout.
Temporary by design
Prepared files and their job records expire automatically after 30 minutes instead of becoming a permanent media library.
No access-control bypass
The service rejects unsupported sources and is not intended to bypass logins, subscriptions, DRM, or other technical restrictions.
Honest status reporting
The interface reports queued, processing, completed, expired, and failed states from the actual download worker.

The submitted URL is parsed, credentials are rejected, and its hostname must match an explicitly enabled platform.

One bounded job requests the public source and prepares only the selected video or audio output.

The browser receives a temporary attachment link while progress and failures remain visible in the interface.

The file and in-memory job record expire after 30 minutes or can be cleared earlier by resetting the job.
Built-in safeguards

These are implementation-backed limits, not generic security badges.
Allowlisted hosts
Arbitrary domains cannot start downloader jobs. Platform support is explicit and reviewed separately from the wider research catalog.
No URL credentials
Links containing usernames or passwords are rejected. NvidSave is not intended for private-session or account-only media.
Bounded processing
Worker count, retained jobs, duration, output size, and temporary lifetime are limited to reduce abuse and resource exhaustion.
Same-origin protection
State-changing API requests use restrictive origin checks rather than accepting requests from any website.
Spam and flood controls
Per-client endpoint limits, a global request ceiling, bounded inspection concurrency, queue limits, and Retry-After responses reduce abusive resource use.
SSRF and phishing resistance
Direct IPs, credentials, unsafe ports, control characters, unknown hosts, malformed job IDs, and open proxy paths are rejected before source processing.
Browser attack protection
Angular escapes source text, remote thumbnails require HTTPS without referrers, and CSP, anti-framing, MIME-sniffing, permissions, and origin headers reduce XSS and clickjacking risk.
Accessible status
Semantic controls, keyboard focus, readable labels, and polite live status updates keep the workflow understandable without relying on color alone.
Minimal persistence
There is no permanent user media library. Technical and security logs may still exist as described in the Privacy Policy.
Responsible use
Your authorization matters.
- Use NvidSave only for public media you own, created, licensed, or otherwise have permission to save.
- Source websites can change without notice, so platform and format availability may vary by link, region, and time.
- NvidSave does not sell personal information and does not require an account for the public download workflow.
Honest limitations
What NvidSave does not promise.
- No internet service can guarantee absolute security, uninterrupted availability, or compatibility with every public link.
- Application limits reduce ordinary abuse but do not replace production DDoS protection, a web application firewall, shared rate-limit storage, infrastructure quotas, and monitoring.
- A platform being enabled does not mean every post, format, resolution, region, or media type is available.
- NvidSave does not determine whether your intended download or later use is lawful; that responsibility remains with you.
- The service does not bypass private access, subscriptions, DRM, age gates, geographic controls, or source-platform restrictions.

Does NvidSave keep downloaded videos?
Not as a permanent library. Prepared files and their in-memory job records expire automatically after 30 minutes, and resetting a completed job can request earlier removal.
Does NvidSave require an account?
No. The public downloader workflow does not require registration, a profile, or a stored download history.
Can NvidSave access private or paid media?
No. NvidSave is designed for eligible public URLs and does not bypass logins, subscriptions, DRM, passwords, or other access controls.
What information is processed?
The service processes the URL you submit, your output choices, job and progress data, and limited technical request information needed to operate and secure the service. See the Privacy Policy for details.
What should I do if I find a security issue?
Do not exploit or publish sensitive details. Send a clear reproduction, affected URL or component, impact, and contact information to security@nvidsave.com.
How can a rights holder report a concern?
